Animal Helpers is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to finding homes for stray or abandoned cats and kittens. The animals live in foster homes until suitable new homes can be found. Incredipet graciously allows us to use their facilities for our adoption days.

Your adoption fee has paid for feline leukemia testing, spaying/neutering, worming, beginning vaccinations, and any other medication necessary. You will also receive a courtesy vet check from a sponsoring veterinary clinic. Most often, our cats and kittens have already been altered when you adopt them. When kittens have not been spayed/neutered, a coupon for surgery will be sent to you. We recommend that all cats be retested for feline leukemia 4-6 months after the initial test.

Also, a low-cost spay/neuter coupon is available from Animal Helpers. Animal Helpers was the first organization to introduce low-cost spay/neuter to the Bluegrass area. This has been one of our most rewarding programs.
